Depart from Nairobi at 7.30 am to Samburu National Reserve (5-6 hours). Drive north through a myriad of sceneries arriving in camp/lodge for lunch. Proceed for an afternoon game drive to experience the rich blend of rare Northern species (the Grevy Zebra, Somali Ostrich, Reticulated Giraffe, Gerenuk and the Beisa Oryx). Return for dinner and overnight stay

Vitalise with an early breakfast and proceed for a morning game drive till noon in the nature trails of Samburu. Return for a hot lunch and luxuriate in the hotel amenities (such as a cooling swim). Head out for a dusk safari and bask in the African sunset. Return to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Have an early breakfast at the camp/lodge and check out. Return to Nairobi (optional visit to the Maasai Cultural Village at $20 per person) arriving late in the evening.
